Story

My little sister made a gingerbread train on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The first picture was of the box the train came in. The box showed all the pieces that came with.
In the second picture, my little sister took all of the pieces out of the box. She lined them up to see how to put it together. Then we used the icing to stick the pieces together and to get it to stay up.
In the third picture, it shows one of the candies my little sister is going to put on the train. She then started to put them onto the train.
The forth picture is when she started to put all the different candies and icing on the train. This is where the train is finally starting to come together.
In the last picture, all of the candy and icing was on the train. The train was finally done and it looks fantastic!

portraits

In all my images, I took pictures of Hannah. I took all of my photos inside. I really like all of the pictures.
I took all of these images around 2:30 in the afternoon. I chose these photos, because I loved the lighting on them. I also thought they were all very pretty. When I was taking these photos, I was trying to see what different things I could do with the light and different ways I could pose Hannah. I really like all the lighting in the photos and the poses.
The principal of design that I see the most in all my photos is rule of thirds. I don’t think my principals of design are really strong, but I think they are still there. However, rule of thirds is the one that I see the most in all of my photos. I think rule of thirds contributes to my work because it really highlights the light in the photos.

IMA

This is a picture of a flower. I took this at the IMA. I really like the main colors in the flower, because purple and yellow are complementary colors. It really makes the flower pop.
When I took this photo, the first thing that caught my eye was the middle of the flower because of the color. When I took this image, it was about one thirty in the afternoon. I chose this picture to represent my work, because I love flowers.
The principles of design I see in my work is rule of thirds, because the flower is off to the side. Rule of thirds is the most visible principle of design in my work. I think rule of thirds made my picture more interesting, because it captures your eye in a different way.

This is a picture of my little sister. She is in dance, so I asked her to do a heel stretch. A heel stretch is what she is doing in this picture.

I chose this picture to represent my work, because I am a dancer just like my little sister. When I took this picture, I was in my backyard. It was about seven o'clock at night. There was a sunset in the background which I really think adds to the photo.

In the picture I used rule of thirds, because she is not in the middle. She is to the side a little. I also have repetition in my picture because of the trees in the background. In this photo, I feel the composition is good.
